Scenario 1:

Dax has an unusual talent: he can eat far more pizza than anyone suspects he can. He often makes large bets with people about how much pizza he can eat and winds up winning them all. This month Dax and his roommate are a little short on the rent, so they decide to set up a mutual friend this way.

Scene One (The living room):

Dax, his roommate and their friend are seated in the living room, having an argument. Dax is shirtless and wearing just jeans or running shorts. The friend says that he doesn’t believe that Dax could eat two large pizzas at one sitting. Dax’s roommate challenges the friend to a bet. The friend says he’ll bet one hundred dollars that Dax can’t finish the pizzas. Dax’s roommate raises the bet to two hundred dollars and the friend accepts.

Scene Two (The kitchen):

Dax, his roommate and their friend are seated in the kitchen. Dax is still shirtless and sits at the end of the table, facing the camera so that his belly can’t be seen under the table. Dax’s roommate and friend are seated on either side of him.

There are two large pizza boxes open on the table. One is empty; the other contains several remaining pieces of the second pizza. Dax is obviously in discomfort; he moans to his friend that he feels like he’s going to bust at any second. Dax’s roommate tells Dax to stand up; that’ll make more room in his belly. Dax stands up to reveal a hugely swollen belly, very near its bursting point.

Dax cradles his belly with his hands and looks imploringly at his roommate; he says that he’s not sure that he can finish the pizza. His roommate gets irate and says that Dax was able to do this a couple of weeks ago with no problem, and he can do it this time. Dax’s roommate picks up a slice of pizza and practically jams it into Dax’s mouth, force-feeding him. This goes on until the last piece of pizza. Dax begs his roommate not to make him eat the last slice; he’s afraid that he’s going to burst. The roommate growls that he’s got two hundred bucks riding on this bet; Dax said that he could do it and he’s damn well going to DO IT.

The roommate forces the last slice of pizza into Dax’s mouth. Dax bites and chews; it’s not clear which he fears more: the risk of bursting or his roommate’s rage. They come down to the last bite. Dax balks. His roommate yells at him to open up. Dax gets panicky, saying “No, please, I can’t, I’ll explode, I’ll bust like a balloon…” At Dax says that last word, the roommate jams the final bite into Dax’s mouth; Dax reflexively swallows it.

There’s a moment of silence. Then Dax looks downs in horror as his belly swells beyond its limit and pops.
