Back story, J and Klien have been trying to get pregnant for 2 year with no success and they decide to pursue adoption instead.

( Klein and J are creating a video for the adoption agency.)

J tells Klien they need to film the video for the adoption agency, J tells him that they have to show specific rooms. Klien and J are showing their new house, they are showing the kitchen, bathroom,bedroom and J’s office.They explain they have been married for 2 year and together for 5 years. They just bought the house. Klein tells the camera that he is a model and chef and J is a midwife and birth photographer.  Klein and J and kiss. J tells him that he hopes this will worK.

Klien is laying in the bed, he tells J he doesn’t feel well, they now have a new daughter who begins to cry. J goes off and picks her up and is seen walking around the house trying to settle her down. Klein gets up and takes the baby so that J can get in the shower. J is in the bathroom when Klien runs in and gets sick. J asks him if he is ok? Klein tells him that it must be food poisoning.  J gets dressed and heads off for work, Klein then sneaks back in the bathroom and finds the pregnancy test and takes it. He sees it turn positive.

J gets home and Klien is in the kitchen, you hear their daughter crying. Klein asks him if he can get their daughter, J walks back in the baby and the pregnancy test. He ask Klien if this is his, Klein nods. J hugs and kisses Klien and turns and says I can’t wait to see their kids grow up. J asks him if he called the doctor, Klein tells him that he changed his mind and he called a midwife that the adoption agency uses. Klein tells him that the midwife will come over tomorrow for his 1st appointment.

J does a prenatal exam at home- no ultrasound at this time he tells him the heartbeat sounds great, and tells him the due date. Klein tells him he changed his mind and he wants him to do all the prenatal care.

Klein is in bed when J gets home from work, J pulls the blanket back and gently kisses his belly and rubs it. Klien wakes up and J apologies for waking him up. The start to cuddle in bed and discuss baby names. J ask him what he thinks they are having, they make guess, Klein ask him for the Tums since he is getting heartburn, j teases him and tells him that his mom told him that means the baby will have lots of hair.

Klien is now 6 months pregnant. J does a prenatal exam and ultrasound( hospital setting). J tells him that his ultrasound shows something strange. Klien looks concerned. J tells him to get the answer they need to do an Amniocentesis.. Klien asks him what that is. J explains what it is. Klien agrees. You see J stick a needle in Klien stomach and Klien wines that it hurts. J  tells him just another minute and this will be done.

Klien is on the floor practicing birth stretches and breathing exercises when J walks in and has an envelope in his hands that has a bunch of letters inside. He tells Klein he has a puzzle for him. Klien starts the puzzle and sees it spells out their baby name, it shows the gender of the baby’s gender. J tells him the lab called and everything was perfect.

Klein is 9 days overdue, Klein is holding their daughter ( pants unbuttoned) when J comes home and tells him he has to try and get labor started. J tells him if he can’t’ then he will have to go to the hospital. J shows him a list of items to try and a box of tea. Klein tells J whatever it takes. You see J help Klien to the kitchen. You see him hand him some tea which is raspberry leaf tea that J just handed them.  J then hands him some pepper or pineapple to and a bottle of herbs to jumó start labor.They talk about what they should try next.

Klien is in the bathroom when he gets his 1st contractions. J helped him to his feet. J is seen helping him walk around the house. Klein begs you for meds. J tells him to lay on the bed and you will see how he is doing. Klein tries to sit on the bed and ends up getting a contraction. J tells him to breathe, Klien tells you he feels something, you look and notice his water broke. You help him to lay down and remove his pants, then cover him up with a blanket and check how far he is. Klien is only 6 cm and you tell him to relax and breathe. You help him try different positions to make the baby come faster( squatting. Hands and knees laying on one side, j helps him rubs his back and encourages him). Klein yells at you that he feels pressure and wants to push. J tells him he is only at an 8.5and has to wait a bit longer. Klein then asks if the camera and laptop are set up so their parents can see their 2nd grandchild be born. J points over and says yes. Klien is fully dilated at the moment so you asked Klien to push on the next contraction. Klien push and push and push but the head is very large and hard to deliver.  Klein was in great pain and you keep encouraging him to push. Klein  tells you it feels like he is tearing, you tell him he isn’t and has to push harder. After a few painful pushes (around 6-7 times), the baby’s head is finally out. Klien tells you he is feeling like he is going to get sick and pass out , J tells him he is doing great and hands him a bowl and Klien ends up throwing up. J then hands him a towel. Klien catches his breath. You ask him to breathe slowly and steady so he won’t over breathe again. Klien breath along with you then another contraction hits. Klien continues to push and scream, finally he manages to push the baby out. You tell him congrats him for giving birth to a huge healthy baby boy. You hand him the baby and tell him he should try and feed his baby. Klien tries to breastfeed the baby, and you  give him a few pointers. You hand him a pillow to support the baby. Klein asks what time it is and says welcome to the world _______. Klein hands j the baby and j  turns his back to Klein you hear  j tell him the baby’s measurements, but Klein is fast asleep. J makes a joke that I guess since daddy was in labor for the past 29 hours he must need some sleep.
