Review:

“Wanted to give you my review and I LOVED it. This is probably your best video other than Beau the Mover. Nathan did great – he kept in character and the way he responded to being given “lifelong” suggestions was great acting. He looked and sounded pissed and perplexed and it was fantastic. He’s great, but moreover you did great on the script which was, admittedly, significantly different than my previous scripts.”

Nathan (wearing a tight polo shirt, jeans and tighty whities underneath) is greeting Dr. Smith and inquiring about the advertisement he saw that he could “millions” of dollars. Dr. Smith explains that he’s a hypnotist and tells Nathan that he will hypnotize him and ask him to complete a simple task. For every task he is able to complete he will get $200,000. However, if he isn’t able to complete it, then Dr. Smith will be able to give him any suggestion he wants. Nathan looks suspicious, but agrees before insisting that he can’t be hypnotized because he’s “too smart”. Dr. Smith tells Nathan they will begin as he pulls out a pendulum and does a short induction before counting down from 5 to 1. As Dr. Smith counts down, Nathan will ask “I still get the money even if I can’t be hypnotized, right?” and just as he finishes saying it, Dr. Smith says 1 and Nathan’s eyes close as his head hits his chest.

Nathan is told that upon waking he will no longer be able to remember his name, in fact, even if Dr. Smith says his name, he won’t be able to recall it as his own. *Would like this to be just like the Olly video where you say Nathan’s name to him numerous ways/times and Nathan doesn’t even acknowledge his name was said and fails to remember it*

Nathan is woken up and Dr. Smith asks if he feels any different as Nathan insists that it didn’t work. Dr. Smith asks Nathan if he’s ready to begin the challenge and Nathan agrees insisting that he’s going to get a lot of money from this. Dr. Smith tells Nathan that for 200K, all Nathan needs to do is tell him his name. Nathan laughs and insists that easy, but then looks confused as he struggles to remember it. Nathan begins thinking as hard as he can as Dr. Smith asks him if he remembers his name. Nathan insists that he knows his name but still is unable to remember it. Dr. Smith then begins telling Nathan things like “Nathan, how could you forget your name?”. Nathan will continue to try to remember his name as Nathan will ask for a hint. Dr. Smith will then tell Nathan, “Your name is Nathan”, but Nathan continues to be unable to remember. Dr. Smith gives Nathan one more chance to remember his name before Nathan finally admits that he can’t remember his name.

Dr. Smith tells Nathan that because he lost this challenge, Dr. Smith will get to give him any suggestion he wants and tells Nathan that for the rest of his life he will never be able to remember his name as long as he’s wearing a shirt or covering his chest. Nathan looks mad and tells Dr. Smith he didn’t agree to this and insists that he needs to know his name. However, Dr. Smith reminds Nathan that he agreed to let him give him any suggestion if he failed a task. Nathan again insists he didn’t agree to a permanent suggestion and demands to stop playing right now. Dr. Smith tells Nathan if he quits now, he will lose every other game and thus must let Dr. Smith give him 4 other suggestions and insists the others won’t be as “nice”. Nathan agrees to continue playing.

Dr. Smith asks Nathan his name and Nathan admits he can’t remember it. Dr. Smith then encourages Nathan to remove his shirt so he can remember it and Nathan refuses as he continues to try to remember it, but eventually gives up and takes his shirt off. Nathan immediately remembers his name and wonders why he forgot it, but once he puts his shirt back on his name is gone again. Nathan complains how he can’t keep removing his shirt just to remember his shirt. Nathan is then put back into trance.

He is then told that when Dr. Smith next snaps his fingers he will suddenly forget the number 7. In fact, he will believe it doesn’t exist at all until Dr. Smith snaps his fingers a second time. Dr. Smith asks Nathan if he’s good at math and Nathan insists that he’s an engineer, so he must be good at math. Dr. Smith then asks Nathan how many fingers Nathan has and Nathan replies “10”. He then asks Nathan to hold out his fingers and to count each finger and Nathan counts to 10. Dr. Smith then snaps his fingers and has Nathan count again and Nathan counts “1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11” then looks confused. Nathan insists he only has 10 fingers and keeps counting his fingers – out loud – but continues to get 11. Nathan will then count his fingers backwards and go “10,9,8,6,5,4,2,1,0” and be confused again and wonder why he’s counting wrong. Dr. Smith will tell Nathan that he made him forget the number 7 and Nathan looks confused and insists that there is no such thing. Dr. Smith explains that 7 is between 6 and 8, but again, Nathan will insist that there’s no such thing and that 8 comes after 6.

They will argue before Nathan firmly states the number 7 doesn’t exist. Dr. Smith then snaps his fingers and Nathan looks confused before wondering why he forgot the number 7. Nathan quickly counts his fingers again and wonders how he could have forgotten a number and how he was so certain that it didn’t exist. Nathan asks for a second chance and Dr. Smith agrees as Nathan is then put back to sleep.

Nathan is now told that when he wakes up, he will believe the answer to any math question he’s given is “69”. Nathan is woken up and told that he will be asked 5 simple math questions by Dr. Smith, for every question Nathan gets correct, Dr. Smith will give him 20K, however if he gets all of them wrong he will lose this round and get another suggestion. Nathan agrees and insists this should be easy money. Dr. Smith first asks 1+1 and Nathan thinks before responding “69”. Dr. Smith then asks multiple other easy questions like 2+2, 5+5, and his last question will be 69+69. Nathan will think about before responding to all the questions but then answer “69” and remark how those questions were easy. Dr. Smith will then ask if he’s sure than 69+69 is 69 and Nathan will think about it then confirms that 69+69 is 69 and remark that he minored in math. Nathan, proud of himself, states that because he got all 5 questions correct and he gets 20K for each correct question that means he gets $69. Dr. Smith laughs and tells Nathan he got every question wrong and Nathan insists that he got everything correct and attempts to explain that 1+1 equals 69 and that 2+2 also equals 69. As he “explains” Nathan begins getting confused wondering how every math problem is 69. Dr. Smith then explains he told Nathan that every answer to any math problem is 69 and then tells Nathan when he snaps his fingers, he will realize this. Dr. Smith snaps his fingers and Nathan looks confused and wonders how he was getting “69” for “1+1”. Dr. Smith tells him that he failed another challenge so that means that he gets another suggestion.

Dr. Smith tells Nathan that for the rest of his life whenever he hears the word “waterfall” he’s going to feel like he has the worst urge to pee in his life and like he’s about to piss his pants and will need to run to the restroom immediately, however, the feeling will suddenly resolve the moment he gets to the bathroom. Nathan tells Dr. Smith that he is going too far and what happens if he can’t make it to the bathroom and he does piss himself. Dr. Smith reassures Nathan that he won’t actually piss himself, but will just feel like he did it. Dr. Smith snaps his fingers and then tells Nathan he’s going to test his new trigger and says “Waterfall”. Nathan immediately begins acting like he has to go to the bathroom and begins squirming as he asks where the bathroom is. Dr. Smith points him to the bathroom as Nathan covers his groin and squirms more intensely and runs to the bathroom. We then see Nathan enter the bathroom and suddenly act relieved as he returns to Dr. Smith and begs Dr. Smith to remove it.

Nathan begins complaining about how now he can’t remember his name unless shirtless and now has to piss every time he hears the word “waterfall”. However, once Nathan says the word “waterfall” he triggers himself and begins squirming and asks to use the bathroom again as we see him run off camera and then back to Dr. Smith. Dr. Smith reminds Nathan that he agreed to this and puts him back to sleep.

Dr. Smith tells Nathan when he wakes whenever Dr. Smith tells him “Take off your shirt” he will have the immediate urge to take his shirt off, it will get worse and worse, no matter how much he resists, until he takes his shirt off. Nathan is woken up and Dr. Smith explains that this next challenge is very simple – all Nathan needs to do is not take his shirt off. Nathan laughs and asks if “that’s all” as Dr. Smith confirms. Nathan states he’s ready and then Dr. Smith tells Nathan “Take off your shirt”. Nathan then begins grabbing his shirt as he tries to resist and tells Dr. Smith that he has this sudden urge to take off his shirt. Nathan begins resisting as he slowly raises his shirt before ultimately taking it off. Nathan, defeated, asks for another chance and puts his shirt back on and “braces” himself. Dr. Smith again tells Nathan “Take off your shirt” and Nathan, again, begins taking it off as he tries to resist the urge. Again, Nathan asks for another chance and tries to brace himself more. This repeats one or two more times before Dr. Smith tells Nathan he has one last chance. Dr. Smith again repeats the command as Nathan again tries, but fails, to resist taking his shirt off. Dr. Smith reminds Nathan that this means he now gets to give Nathan another command. Nathan will insist for “one more chance” but Dr. Smith declines.

Dr. Smith tells Nathan that from now on whenever he sees his reflection in a mirror, he’s going to take off his shirt and pants and begin flexing and posing mindlessly and will only be able to stop when he hears his name, after he is released, he will be resistant to this command for 5 minutes. Nathan, again, complains and insists that he can’t go to work if he can never look in a mirror and wonders how he would even dress himself. Nathan begs Dr. Smith not to do this to him, but Dr. Smith again insists that he agreed as he snaps his fingers. Dr. Smith then reminds Nathan that there is a mirror in the bathroom and tells him “waterfall”. Nathan runs to the bathroom insisting he has to pee and once there looks in the mirror and appears enthralled with himself as he takes off his pants and shirt and begins flexing. Dr. Smith comes in and watches and waves his hands in front of Nathan to no reaction and even feels Nathan’s muscles as he flexes and poses. Dr. Smith will then say “Nathan” as Nathan realizes what he was doing, puts his clothes back on, and tells Dr. Smith that this is extreme. Nathan will complain that he could be flexing and posing for hours at a time if he’s at home and his fiancé isn’t there to stop him. Dr. Smith puts Nathan back to sleep once he’s fully dressed.

Dr. Smith tells Nathan that when he next wakes, he’s going to get into the shower, fully clothed, and begin showering without realizing he’s doing it until he hears Dr. Smith close the bathroom door. Dr. Smith turns on the shower and once warm, wakes Nathan up who immediately gets into it and showers while fully clothed. Dr. Smith tells Nathan that he’s going to go set-up the next challenge and will be back in few minutes and leaves before closing the door. Once the door closes, Nathan realizes what he was doing and wonders why he was showering with his clothes on. He gets out of the shower and grabs a towel but looks into the bathroom mirror and immediately takes his clothes off and begins flexing and posing. Dr. Smith wonders where Nathan is as he enters the bathroom and see Nathan flexing and posing and jokes that he “forgot” about that command. Dr. Smith admires Nathan’s body and releases him by saying “Nathan”. Nathan grabs his clothes but before he can put them back on Dr. Smith tells Nathan that he won’t put his clothes back then snaps his fingers and Nathan drops his clothes and follows Dr. Smith to the office.

In the office, Nathan, only wearing his underwear is shown three cups and Dr. Smith asks Nathan if he’s ever played the “shell game”. Dr. Smith explains that a ball is under one up and Dr. Smith will shuffle the cups and Nathan just must guess which cup has the ball in it. Nathan asks what the “catch” is and Dr. Smith reminds him that there is no catch as he puts Nathan to sleep. He then tells Nathan upon waking whenever he hears the word “freeze” he will freeze in place until he hears “unfreeze” and have no memory of anything that’s happened while frozen.

Dr. Smith places a ball under a cup and shuffles them once. Nathan puts his finger on top of one of the cups and Dr. Smith tells him “Freeze” as Nathan freezes in place. Dr. Smith waves his hands in front of Nathan to no reaction and then switches the cups and says “unfreeze”. Dr. Smith lifts the cup and Nathan looks surprised and asks for another shot. Dr. Smith again shuffles the cups and then after Nathan picks one he “freezes” him, moves it, and unfreezes him. Nathan picks up the cup to reveal no ball and looks confused. Dr. Smith tells Nathan he’ll make it even easier and removes on cup and they repeat the game and, again, Dr. Smith freezes Nathan as he touches a cup and switches it. Nathan insists that Dr. Smith must be cheating and is then put back to sleep. Dr. Smith tells Nathan that he enjoyed the “freeze” command so much he’s going to make it a permanent command for him. Dr. Smith then tells Nathan that he gets yet another suggestion.

Nathan is told that he will no longer want to leave Dr. Smith’s house, in fact, he will want to stay there forever. Nathan argues with Dr. Smith telling him that he has a fiancé and that he lives with her and isn’t moving out. Dr. Smith finishes by telling Nathan that he will no longer be able to remember his friends or his fiancé and will never be able to speak or see them again. Nathan argues but Dr. Smith snaps his fingers and Nathan looks confused and wonders why he was yelling at Dr. Smith. Dr. Smith asks Nathan where he lives, and Nathan tells him that he would like to move in with him and Dr. Smith asks about his fiancé. Nathan looks confused and insists he doesn’t have a fiancé.

Dr. Smith tells Nathan for the last game of the day they’re going to play “Rock, paper, scissors” and whenever Nathan loses, he’s going to ask Dr. Smith “What would you like to me to do?” and will then have to follow any command Dr. Smith gives him. However, he won’t remember being given the command, but will remember doing it believing only that he had the sudden urge to do it. Dr. Smith then tells Nathan that he’s always going to pick “paper”. Nathan is woken up and Dr. Smith states that the last game is going to be “Rock, Paper, Scissors” and that all Nathan must do is win one game. Nathan acts relieved and states that this game is purely luck and that he’ll have to win eventually.

They play the first round and Dr. Smith chooses scissors as Nathan picks paper and Nathan immediately, almost in a trance, asks Dr. Smith “What would you like me to do?” and Dr. Smith tells Nathan “do 10 push-ups” and Nathan drops to the floor and does 10 push-ups then wonders why he suddenly wanted to do 10 push-ups. They repeat rock, paper, scissors, and each time Dr. Smith wins as Nathan picks paper, over and over.

Dr. Smith will give the following commands to Nathan, each time Nathan believing he wanted to do them and not remembering being ordered to do them by Dr. Smith:

1)      Flex his biceps *to be done multiple times*

2)      Playing with his nipples until Dr. Smith tells him to stop

3)      Act like a chicken *used multiple times*

4)      Pec bounce *used multiple times*

5)      Dance like a Ballerina *until music stops*

Nathan becomes increasingly confused about why he has these sudden desires to do the above and wonders why he can’t win any of the games of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Dr. Smith tells him they will play one final game and even tells Nathan that he [Dr. Smith] will pick scissors and even picks scissors and puts his hand out. However, Nathan still picks paper and Dr. Smith tells Nathan that while he didn’t win any money, he’s going to be walking away from today with a life changing prize.

Dr. Smith gives Nathan his final permanent suggestion. Nathan is told that for the rest of his life he will only ever be able to wear his underwear, nothing more and nothing less. He will only ever be able to remove his underwear to change it or to use the bathroom. In addition, Nathan is told that he will let Dr. Smith do whatever he wants to his body. Nathan objects and argues that he can’t go the rest of his life in his underwear and asks how he’s supposed to have sex if he can’t take them off. Dr. Smith reassures Nathan that he’ll “figure something out”. Nathan then begins complaining about how “gross” it is that he would let Dr. Smith touch him and tells him that he would never let Dr. Smith touch his body. Dr. Smith snaps his fingers and then asks Nathan if he can feel his chest. Nathan agrees as Dr. Smith feels his body.

The Next Day

We see Nathan, only in his underwear, in the shower as Dr. Smith enters and begins feeling his chest as Nathan acts as if it’s completely normal. Dr. Smith then triggers the “freeze” trigger as Nathan, mid washing his body, freezes in position. *would like a close up of a frozen Nathan in the shower* Nathan is then unfrozen and continues showering as Dr. Smith tells him that he’s going for work and will be back later. Nathan replies that he’s going to go look for some jobs after he gets out of the shower. Dr. Smith leaves and we see Nathan, drying himself off in the bedroom as he walks past a mirror and looks in it. Nathan immediately drops the towel and begins mindlessly flexing and posing.

5 hours later

Nathan is still flexing and posing as Dr. Smith enters and asks how his job search went as Nathan, unresponsive, continues to flex and pose in the mirror. Dr. Smith sees Nathan and laughs as he releases Nathan by saying his name. Nathan looks relieved and states that he’s been flexing for hours and couldn’t stop and thanks Dr. Smith for releasing him. Dr. Smith tells Nathan that he needs to be more careful about the mirrors and Nathan states he “forgot”. Dr. Smith tells Nathan he’s going to watch some TV and then gives him one parting command as he says “waterfall”. Nathan immediately remarks that he feels like he’s going to piss himself and runs to the bathroom, however, once he gets there, he sees his reflection in the mirror and begins flexing and posing. The video ends with a close up of Nathan, only his underwear, flexing and posing in the mirror.
