Rate Limiting issue

I have got some e-mails regarding issues with rate limiting on Gumroad. Gumroad wrote me today with a fix:
“I’m sorry to hear that some of your customers are experiencing issues with rate limiting. This usually happens when there are too many requests coming from the same IP address in a short period of time. It’s a security measure to prevent any potential fraudulent activity. The rate limit should reset after a short period of time, usually about an hour. If your customers are still experiencing this issue after waiting, they could try using a different internet connection or device.”
