Pablo comes over to Dr. Smith’s home to get help on using a stethoscope properly. Dr. Smith instructs him on how to use it by having him take off his shirt, pressing the stethoscope to his chest, and listening to his own heartbeat while Dr. Smith stimulates him. Pablo asks to hear Dr. Smith’s heartbeat and tells him to touch his own nipples. Then Dr. Smith suggests that he run on the treadmill, receive chest compressions and shocks, do breath holds, and hyperventilate. Pablo’s heart stops and Dr. Smith works to bring him back.
